Our Story

Petmu.co started with a straightforward frustration, finding pet products online in Malaysia was overwhelming, inconsistent, and often unreliable. Everything was available, but knowing what was actually good? That was harder.

We’re Petmu Supplies & Marketing, a Malaysian-registered business (202103157307), and we started this to do things differently. We don’t stock everything. We stock what works. We research what suits our climate, our pets’ common health challenges. We choose products we’d actually use our own pets before they go on the shelf.

The treats we sell? We make them ourselves, because we wanted full control over every ingredient. The boarding service? It came from wanting our own adopted pet to genuinely enjoy their time away, to have fun, feel safe and be treated like family, that’s what we built. 

"Mu" in Malay means "you" — your pet. Everything about Petmu.co is built around that. Your pet's health, comfort, happiness, and care.

We're a small team — managing and operated by Petmu Supplies & Marketing, registered in Malaysia. We're not a big warehouse. We're people who share our homes with animals and genuinely care about what goes into the products we sell and make.

We adopted a pet who changed how we think about animal care, and this business grew out of that love. Every decision we make — from what to stock, to how we run boarding — comes from that same place.

FOUNDER & PET LOVER
We started Petmu.co because we couldn't find a pet brand we fully trusted — one that was honest about ingredients, thoughtful about what it stocked, and genuinely cared about the animals in its boarding.
I don’t see pets as just animals. Caring for my adopted Luna and Katy has taught me that everything matters—from food quality to daily affection. They deserve care and consistency in love, the same way we would care for someone who depends entirely on us.

came to be.

2021 — THE BEGINNING
Petmu.co was registered
Frustrated with the inconsistency of pet products online in Malaysia, we registered Petmu Supplies & Marketing and started building something we actually believed in.
FIRST TREATS
Petmu Made was born
We started making our own dehydrated treats because we wanted full control over every ingredient. Small batches, real protein, nothing we couldn't explain. Petmu Made became the heart of our brand.
BOARDING & DAYCARE
We opened our home
After struggling to find a boarding option we were truly comfortable with for our own adopted pet, we decided to become that option ourselves. Our home boarding and daycare service started from genuine personal need.
TODAY
Growing — one petmu at a time
We're still small, still personal, and still making every decision the same way we always have — by asking ourselves if we'd use it, stock it, or trust it for our own pets first.
